Creative Writing is all about pushing the boundaries & our program enables kids to start thinking outside the box at an early stage. Unfortunately, due to space limitations and the nature of our class we do not allow parents to stay and art classes for kids near eastwood sydney watch. The use of visual communication is a vital part of everyday life and students of all ages, skill levels and careers are discovering the benefits of art classes. All art classes run according to regular schedules during public school terms. Classes in our art school are available on weekday after school and Saturdays. An informal social drawing group for artists of all levels of experience. Comprises 3 hours of life drawing, beginning with quick one-minute poses and ending with two 20-minute poses. Great models, great music and great atmosphere, all accompanied by a nice glass of merlot (BYO drawing supplies). Classes are available from beginner to advanced levels where you can learn how to paint in a variety of mediums and with practical exercises to develop observational skills and paint handling techniques. Classes include Oil Painting, Acrylics, Painting for Beginners, Drawing and Painting, Watercolours, Chinese Brush Painting, Hand Lettering, Botanical Art and Abstract Art. Structured lesson plans are developed by our team of artists and teachers with degrees in fine arts and education.

Founded in 1890, Julian Ashton Art School is Australia’s oldest continuous fine art school. The Pottery Shed's classes are founded on the principle that everyone can learn to skillfully manage and use clay by understanding its purest properties. The basic course at The Pottery Shed for beginners is comprised of three 2-hour classes covering throwing, trimming and glazing. Students are then encouraged to develop their skills through returning sessions until they understand the process. They can also add advanced skills during weekly Master Classes in large vessel throwing, hand-building, pottery decorations and mould-making with slip-casting. We explore art elements like colour and shape, as well as learn about a famous painter. We explore the artwork of various artists and use them as inpiration in our own art making. For the after school classes we provide a small afternoon tea usually consisting of fruit, crackers and arrowroot biscuits. If children have their own snacks they can have this as well.
